If we can't recruit quarterbacks and wide receivers that can compete in the ACC, we need another plan. Good systems can make better use of the talent available. We have seen it in the pros as well as CFB. We think everyone has better talent, but it is more likely they have better systems.
We seem to be able to recruit and develop offensive linemen and running backs. QB's and WR's not so much. Maybe it is time to consider an option attack. Hunt would have been a very good option QB and apparently Kimble has the ability to as well. AJ might be too small and might not last a season.
Maybe not a classic triple option but some form of option attack might be worth exploring.
If this sounds like a desperate post it's because it is!
