Giddyup Yankee B*tches

Go O's

I have a new respect for Rags.

Yankees Suck.

Yankees in 4. Was going to say a sweep, but figured I'd be generous and give Buck's team one win.

Starting in Baltimore because Selig likes nonsensical decisions but all the other commissioners are so bad that people let his horrible decisions go.

You O's fans still remember that? The Yankees have had so many playoff games since then I had forgotten all about it. A good outfielder catches that ball.

good example of the difference between the two teams and fan bases...orioles fans remember as it was the last time they were in the playoffs...yankees fan don't as there were so many playoff games between then and now...

Congratulations, we can't support a billion dollar payroll. The Yankees are clearly the better (richer) organization. That doesn't mean it won't feel good sending an aging Jeter home in tears this year. Plus, watching Gayrod (sorry, i mean Metrosexualrod) suck in the postseason is worth it alone.

And for what it's worth, we went wire to wire the year after and made it to the ALCS that year before losing to Cleveland.

The Yankee richness offsets the SU football poorness for me. It's great!

Yeah... cuse, bills, and O's. Thank God for 2003 or I'd be seeing a shrink for more than just my chronic masturrrrr I mean depression.

It would have bounced off the wall anyway. Tarasco didn't look very confident.

What are the odds that kid would go on to play professional baseball? Crazy.

I live in O's territory, so this is something that i know too well. Peter Angelos is the biggest pr** in all baseball. If he wanted too, he could spend real $ on the O's, but his reputation as an owner has gotten sooooo bad, free agents want NOTHING to do with him.

Long term success will never return for them till he does the team the biggest favor he could ever do. Sell them!

Go Yankees!

Jim Johnson, an Endicott, N.Y., native (he has a Syracuse football helmet above his locker), may not forget this performance for a while. Allows a leadoff home run to Russell Martin, and then three consecutive singles (including a run-scoring infield hit by Ichiro) to give the Yankees a 4-2 lead. Then a two-run double by Cano. This game has unraveled for the Orioles in the ninth. Fans exiting hurriedly.

I "like" this part and laugh at the rest.

Great closers have the ability to put the inevitable bad outing behind them. Johnson had a fantastic regular season and navigated a high pressure September like a top closer. But postseason baseball is another animal. Time will tell how (or if) that outing affects him. Speaking as a Yankee fan, I would still prefer not to see Johnson enter a game.
