For a small price, and I am reasonable, I will not re post some of the things you have said about Joe in the past. I am very reasonable. But be prompt. Someone has to pay my medical bills.
Listen here Mr Dasher. Its about time you got yourself fixed. As to Joe he played well today as Jb is starting as he usually does to put his players in position to excel. Its his gift his genius. Simply put he is scheming Joe and the guys as well as i have seen him coach. His use of Jimmy was incredible today. His substitutions were spot on and he designed 3 inbound plays against pressure that were really good. Add in his mix on the zone and JB won this game.
Back to Joe he showed me a will to win a grit that you cant coach. He wanted it and he was a leader with a capital L. Kid showed me something beyond skill today. Great performance and my guess is a breakout performance. He became a different player today.
Im really happy for him

shot was huge...but the next possession iso long 2 fadeaway was a really bad shot make or miss.

for the life of me WHY can they not work together to score on the last 5 mins of the game??

can someone please ask JB in a presser why they MUST play iso in the last 5 mins????
Its the easiest and safest way to eat clock. Its really smart by Jim. Brilliant actually.

if your plan is to give up an 11 point lead with 5 to go...and make the last second of the game as intense as possible...I agree.

if you want to maximize actual chances of winning the game ...the best and safest thing to do is what you would do at any other point in the game - team basketball...work together to create an open high % shot...

not a fade away dribble drive 15 footer by a 6ft tall shooting gaurd. (I wanted joe shooting a lot of shots...just not that one - and I dont think it was by design...more desperation)

Say what you want….what a HUGE 3 that was towards the end as we were scrambling to close out the game! The kid goes 4-8 from three and his percentage actually goes down

Joe was huge and has been really good this year. Over 50% from three and doing well running the team. Some people Like to complain for the sake of complaining and choose Joe as a target. Glad he shut them up today

That shot is JG3 in a nutshell. A completely stupid shot to take but he hits them sometimes. Miss that and it’s a fast break the other way usually. At least this one was fairly late in the shot clock, but many of these crazy shots are not. The guy shoots like 80% on quality shots and probably 20% on these things.

He hits a lot of deep 3's, he has now and has had the green light from the coaches to take them.

If he was off the ball, he would be so good. Him not setting up teammates and actually out there to score and shoot is his +.

Excited for next year when he gets to show us his scoring ability…off the ball
Didn’t he make a 3 off of a Symir assist?

Joe hit some huge shots. Kudos to him. That is a skill that not a lot of people have.

I’m still not sure how anyone watches that game and thinks he’s better as the lead ball handler than off ball. Allowing him to avoid having to dribble thru 94 feet of pressure is key.

I’ll say that my biggest surprise with Joe, and a credit to him, is that he’s looking for and getting the ball to Jesse after he gets down low after the screen and gets even a partial seal. By design or not, Jesse is not putting his shoulder into the dude he’s screening. Again, may be by design/they figure with his size his space-eating is enough. But, regardless, Joe is still looking for him when the D was switching.

It’s exactly what you should do and while he may not be a 6’4” guy, he’s still getting the ball to Jesse at decent angles and in his pocket.

So, do I think Joe is a PG? No, not at this level. There were still some hideous offensive and defensive possessions bc we put Joe in a spot not to succeed.

Again, kudos. Joe came through in the clutch. I have my issues with how he is used / expectations, but onions are onions.

with all due respect, your point is irrelevant because he is our best ball handler and we badly need him to break pressure, at least unless you want to play Torrence 30 minutes plus. Buddy isn’t going to break a press with his handle.

The players are in scholarship to do good things….

Nobody hates jo. The team needs a PG to set up shooters is all and it isn’t joe strength and the offense is stagnant which is frustrating.
Offense was stagnant because our shooters can’t shoot

Not sure how it’s irrelevant since JB has consistently either taken him off the ball or even just sat him upon having pressure defense.

Take it up with the HoFer.

8 games in and Joe shooting 52 pct from 3 and hitting over 3 a game. When is the last guy to start that hot? White? Or further back to say Rautins or Wes?

I remember scoop was shooting a really high number for a while albeit with fewer shots.
