GMAC and Siena are going to the NCAAT!

His team is good! And I recognized some of those players he recruited that are playing for him and have found success

I was rooting for Gmac and Siena tonight, but I just have a feeling with every win they get, Gmac will start leading the hc search over Hodgson
They won't get another. Not enough guys to survive the whistle happy NCAA tournament.

That’s exactly why I made my last post. Dude is ready, no longer a kid.
He's been my choice for next head coach here since the middle of this season. I wanted him as HC three years ago but I get the fact he might have been too green then.

Hodgson has to be the guy if he’s willing to take it. Higher upside for now I think. More entertaining style. That said Hopkins being 2 over Gerry makes no sense from an actual basketball standpoint.
I think I was Hopkins over Gmac before tonight. If the nil situation is the same for both, I think Gmac swayed me. I know letting 1 game change your mind is stupid, yet here we are.

Gmac is the man. Crushing it.

What I think about is If gmac called the folks pushing for Hop they def would ditch Hop in a second and push for GMac.

That just shows the craziness of what the thought process for Hop is in the first place. Not how you rebuild a program imo.

Something else to think about. Hofstra just punched their ticket with Speedy. First time in 25 years so why not him?

Fun game to watch, but that level of play is way below what we saw today at the ACC Tournament. You’re dealing with different kind of players who have NBA aspirations. There was not a pro on the floor tonight. Not even close. Different egos, agents and NIL to deal with at Power Four schools. Gerry can coach, but he needs some experience leading a program at a higher level. The worst thing he could do is rush to the next level. He’s working with kids who are playing for the love of the game and not for how much money they can make. I hope Gerry stays right where he is for a little longer.

Yep, I mean it’s become a no-brainer. Look at the facts, put the emotions aside. Seven players in the active roster, and he still accomplished what they just did.

Kids entire life he has been a winner. Now he’s mature and know longer a kid as that post game interview showed.

He would go to the ends of the Earth, working his arse off to make this place a winner again with the emotion/connection/history and legacy associated with it all, some people have the “it” quality, this guy obviously has “it” in spades

It has become a no-brainer. MAKE. IT. HAPPEN SYRACUSE.
