It is true. He has struggled with "annoying" (his word) neck pain ever since HS. He played through it his entire SU career. It is a serious condition if not corrected (see Peyton Manning). He has sought several opinions on corrective surgery, and Europe is farther ahead in the more non-conventional, but highly effective, surgeries.

Gerry is a great guy and has definitely done his homework on this. He'll be fine.

I gave Gerry the 'Terminator Eye' in my avatar for a reason. He played through everything.
