I hope that SU comes back just to with me in a bad bowl game but either way we are halfway through another day of being outcoached and outplayed. Throw out a missed chip shot, a dumb penalty on SU's miss and the QB falling down for no reason - and SU would be getting killed at home on senior day in a must win game.

What was the coaching staff doing with all of the prep time for a bad Cincinnati team missing its starting QB?

And another boring half of football at home to drive even more fans away from the Dome next year.

This team has regressed. The coaching staff has developed very little talent this season and burned redshirts on a couple of kids for no reason. Marrone is too stubborn to play a second QB when just about every team in the country plays multiple QBs. Special teams suck. Throw out the WVU game and the offense has been predictable and horrible almost every week. The defense often looks unmotivated, displays terrible tackling techniques and gets beat over and over again on the same plays.

But if SU comes back it will be in a bowl and everyone will be fired up about where the program is headed. Until SU gets into the ACC and playing in crappy bowls ends.

Scary thing is what would score look like if Zach Collaros was in the game...

OL looks overmatched. Receivers are dropping the ball or can't get open. Their DBs are just playing flat man press coverage and we can't get open. Where is Lemon today??? Bailey is the only one playing good. If they stop him in 2nd half, someone better step up.

Defense looks slow. Cinci stopped themselves with penalties, missed FG, and QB falling on obvious TD. We've only forced one punt. We haven't stopped their run or 3rd down passes. Absolutely zero pass rush. QB has all day or just going through our defense at ease.

Clearly, we look overmatched talentwise w/o Collaros. Hopefully, we make adjustments in 2nd half to play better.

Split? Perhaps but if that is the case the defense is fooling themselves as they suck almost just as badly as the offense does.
