It was, for me, a great conference and one i have fond memories of. Grew up going to BC games and loved the rivalries with Syracuse and Miami. Later, after going to Syracuse, enjoyed the battles in the mid 90s against VPI, WVU, Miami at the Dome. We are off to greener pastures but the idea of the Big East and the memories in the conferences were, for me, always great. I'll miss those days, not these days. Damn I wish they could somehow get the old band back together again and just create that Big East from the mid 90s. Nothing wrong with that football, certainly nothing wrong with that hoops.
