I love the guy too, but too good to resist, too goodSorry Melo, I just had to do it lol.
Thanks for linking these over here too!Francis and gang, not sure if you guys saw this but from today's articles, great Goodluck interview with some highlights.
Cool, but confident at the same time. His defense is obviously a great fit for the middle of our zone. He's going to be a stopper at the next level.

About this second article, great story on how his name came to be.
Great stuff, thanks Tee and OE. Really amazing background on what his father unfortunately had to go through before Goodluck was born. It's nice that they mentioned his passing skills in the 1st video, because that's what caught my eye as well when I watched him recently.Francis and gang, not sure if you guys saw this but from today's articles, great Goodluck interview with some highlights.

You are welcome sir.Great stuff, thanks Tee and OE. Really amazing background on what his father unfortunately had to go through before Goodluck was born. It's nice that they mentioned his passing skills in the 1st video, because that's what caught my eye as well when I watched him recently.
You are welcome sir.
I had the opportunity to be in Goodluck's presence. He was like a wide-eyed kid and wowed by the Carrier Dome, the crowd and atmosphere. Okonoboh was very friendly, engaging and obliging to all who met him or asked for autographs and photos. He has a beaming smile like so many who have starred at Syracuse in the past, Melo, Jonny & Donovan. He would fit in with SU's style of play and be that athletic stopper at the back of the zone & press. I also like his attitude and demenor on the court.
Wow, that is great. I always thought he was more of a top 50 guy. Great to see him move up the rankings.Good luck is number 20 on the new espn rankings for 2014.
He is one of those guys you really want to see here because it would be so easy to root for him. But similarly, I would root for him wherever he goes. Some people deserve success a little more, IMO. When you work hard but have also had some adversity to overcome. Don't know who to give credit to for the phrase, but I love kids that are "Hungry and Humble"You are welcome sir.

My favorite all time commercial. It might be so, because my best friend & I played well past our prime in a league against guys in their 20's, we were in our 40's. We lost in the championship game to Marty Headd's brother's team at Onondaga Central HS, Mike Hart's school.Kyrie Irving aka Uncle Drew.
That's cool, didn't know you had game like that OE Did you guys get the same reaction from the crowd going against the youngsters like the Uncle Drew commercial? My favorite all time commercial. Pretty much, maybe that's why I love it. Just out of high school I had a job at GE. I put together a basketball team loaded with former city, county & parochial all stars. We could never beat this one team of mostly balding, paunchy and seemingly out of shape but wily veterans. They would clutch, grab and pull at your uniforms. Looking back they were probably in their late 20's & early 30's. I couldn't figure it out at the time but they knew how to play team basketball, pick & roll, set plays and how to guard. On paper they should have never been able to stay with us.That's cool, didn't know you had game like that OE Did you guys get the same reaction from the crowd going against the youngsters like the Uncle Drew commercial?

OE thanks that's pretty cool to hear about Goodluck, glad he liked the dome and like I've said for pretty much every recruit I hope he's here against Georgetown. Have you heard anything or what does your gut tell you about our chances of landing him? I have a feeling we're going to get him, not based on anything too serious just a feeling, and I think he'll be great in the middle of the zone.
Thanks for the kind words. I think anything is possible since I'm sure he'll have the grades, but when it's all said and done I think he stays in the 2014 class to get stronger and round out his game. The last real update that I had on him a few months ago, was that he really likes SU, UK, and Mizzou. UK and Mizzou have several forwards coming in already, so if he was going to jump into 2013, then I would think that we're the best option if one of the current bigs are gone.Francis, this is the first time in a while I have read this thread. Do you think GO coming in the 2013 class is a legit possibility? Would it have to be a or C leaving early for him to reclassify or could he be brought on board if/when MCW leaves? Thanks for all you add to this place. I always look forward to your insight.
Is UK recruiting him??Saw on twitter that goodluck was at the uk-florida game.
Yup, how hard idk but im sure his boy Nerlens is in his ear.Is UK recruiting him??
He likes SU, UK, and Mizzou. Has finally made a name for himself and gotten out of the Noel shadow. Dunno why he would want to go back to square one again with that if he ends up at UK.Is UK recruiting him??
UK will possibly have Dakari Johnson back and likely have Marcus Lee back too in 2014. They also have a commitment from Karl Towns and lead for Trey Lyles in the 2014 class. I doubt Goodluck gets an offer.
