I can't remember the last time I've been this jacked up for a game. I certainly wasn't this excited all last year, not last week. I think coming off the absolutely dismal 3-9 campaign, combined with a glimpse of what could be our QB of the future and the rest of the young talent on this team, has made it that much more thrilling. The shitt Clawson & Co tried pulling last year just adds fuel to the fire. The emergence of younger talent and a new offense has reincarnated my SU football soul that, admittedly, I lost at the end of last year.

I know we manhandled a team we should've manhandled last week, but it just felt different. We only saw a fraction of what they are capable of IMO, so time to shine Cuse. No foot off the gas the whole game.

I want us to beat Wake so bad. It's annoying as hell reading all of these naysayers, so time to shut them the hell up. Make a statement tomorrow.

No question. That Nova game last year set the stage for the whole season. Granted, Nova is way better than RI, but they are still an FBS team. We should've lost that game and got very lucky we won. Winning 47-0 in dominating fashion obviously gives you a way better feeling.

This is the most excited I've been in many years. I think we have enough playmakers that we can keep fresh legs on the field in Lester's more distributed offensive scheme. I hope so...but we'll get a decent look at it tomorrow.

IMO, HCSS and his staff represent what college FB was intended to be. They do things the right way. I really hope they turn it around this season. HCSS is perfect for SU and this community.
