I worked at 1 Chase Plaza - the address for that building in the late 80's - early 90's. When it was finally built it was a trendsetter as it provided a large open space plaza which was a rarity at the time. NYC forced David Rockefeller to provide the open space in order to build such a tall building in lower Manhattan. The below picture shows the plaza it during it's current renovation. There is a sunken pool with windows showing the lower level banking floor which is below the plaza level.

I worked at 14 Wall St. for many years, right around the corner.

We were on the 26th floor, right where the balconies are. Not only did we smoke butts up there, but were one floor below the restaurant top floor, where his mistress lived. Supposedly.
