Gross: Syracuse will definitely be in a bowl

Detroit!

I almost guarantee Detroit.

What better way for a school to give back to an alum athlete than to help out his economy in rough times. It's all starting to make sense.

I'd drive to Detroit to watch them play. Its about 6 hours for me. I did it back in May to go to a baseball game and drink great craft beer. There is a craft beer bar called the Oak Café in Wyandotte just about 30 minutes south of Detroit that has one of the best tap lists in the country. If you are a craft beer person, you'll know the significance of this -- they had Bell's Hopslam on tap in May along with Founder's Double Trouble, and at least 25 other incredible beers. Then, there are several breweries that make amazing beer just north of Detroit about 30 minutes in Warren, MI, including the best -- Dragonmead and Kuhnhenn. It would be a fun trip to watch the bowl game in Detroit and hit the great beer stops south and north of Detroit before and after.

Big D or Shreveport baby for my own selfish reasons. At the end of the day I'll likely travel wherever they wind up.

Very fond memories of Detroit the last time (the trip, not the game...) --- did the bus trip through Happy Journeys Travel to the Cherry Bowl with my brother (lived up in Syracuse at the time). Lotta fun, quite the party bus. Also, the "chaperone" on our bus was none other than Dennis "Sweet D" DuVal.

It's all making sense now.

and the six bowl options the Good Dr. is referring to ?

My six:

Military
Little Ceasars
Pinstripe
Heart of Dallas
Independence
Beef O'Brady

Independence i'm beginning to want more and more, either PAC 12 team or ND sounds like a decent match up. Maybe get a little hype. That Dallas or Military would be my TOP 3, but I don't care either way.

Aren't we suppose to be listening to Frazier?

If BC does take Dallas it could be between detroit and shreveport for us and pitt.

I too took the bus from Manley to the Cherry Bowl.

I remember Detroit being very cold at night and feeling very bad about the homeless who were trying to keep warm.

Detroit!!!!

Lady walks into a grocery store and asks the young man in the produce department if she could get half a watermelon. The kid walks into the back room notknowing that the woman is following him. He sees the store manager and says "Some arsewh-le wants half a watermelon!". The kid thens sees the woman and quickly states "And this lovely lady would like the other half!"

The manager is impressed and says, "that was some quick thinking. I should send you to managers school in Detroit!". The kid replies"Detroit...there's nothing but hookers and hockey players in Detroit!"
The manger retorts"My wife is from Detroit!" The kid says "oh, ...what position does she play?"

What's so gross about playing in a bowl game???

Oh, right
