Gross: Syracuse will definitely be in a bowl

I too took the bus from Manley to the Cherry Bowl.

I remember Detroit being very cold at night and feeling very bad about the homeless who were trying to keep warm.

It was cold and empty inside and outside the Silverdome.

Big D or Shreveport baby for my own selfish reasons. At the end of the day I'll likely travel wherever they wind up.
Shreveport is underrated...gaming and pretty good Cajun Food. Weather will be the same as Dallas: 60% chance it will be pretty nice.

BTW, fly into Dallas and drive 3 hours to Shreveport...better flights, cheap too.

For selfish reasons I would like this as I am only 45 miles from Tropicana field, but the payout for this bowl sucks $537,500. Compare this to the Heart of Dallas at $1,100,000, Advocare - $1,150,000. There are only four bowls that pay out less.

The bowl payout is irrelevant to an individual school (other than prestige) because the ACC splits all net bowl revenues among member schools.

doesn't revenue just get split up among conference members, anyway? if the aggregate # is the same, that's all that matters, i think.

nuts, beat me by one minute!
Great minds think alike!
One positive implication of the ACC policy - and maybe the primary reason behind it - is that of the many factors being considered in placing teams in the various bowls, payout is not a major consideration for any given team.

Thanks, did not realize that. Then if that is the case I will be selfish; come on down to St. Pete.
If we get Beef...I'll get with you to hunt down a tailgate spot in St. Pete. Gotta think we can find a lot that will take cash.

I will have to get with one of the guys who goes to all the Rays games. I was not into their games that much.

If he's wrong, then we should go back to the Big East.

(I'd rather go to the Antarctica Bowl).

Please do...ask him if he knows a relatively cheap lot within 4-5 blocks of the stadium.

Hmmmm, I may be able to make it for that one.

Not sure if this would hold for the BeefOBowl but:
