There was one - I remember because GOSU96 used it as his chance to go after the posters who complain that DeVito takes too many sacks. Guy was READY.Don't remember any sacks

Two more…How many seasons does Shred have left after this one?
Two more…
Disagree. Dungey came in and looked great from his first freshman year appearance. Had that long TD against Wake, he was running for 20 yards and then pitching it at the end of his run to somebody who gained even more. Pretty sure his QB rating as a freshman was...I forget what exactly, but something statistically impressive and significant.People forget Dungey wasn’t Dungey yet as a soph. Even his senior year people were calling for Devito to replace him at one point.
Shrader is very Dungey like - runs well, struggles with deeper balls and wears his heart on his sleeve.
He has a lot to accomplish to be on par with #2 but give him time to develop
His throwing on the move was impressive to me. His confidence was growing through the game, and honestly he is going to win us a game we shouldn’t win this year. Did it feel like his throwing motion was more fluid or just me?
Yup lol I remember his fired off response and thought it was hilariousThere was one - I remember because GOSU96 used it as his chance to go after the posters who complain that DeVito takes too many sacks. Guy was READY.
Just like it’s evident that GS has something more than TD to make this offense more dynamic. Dungey always had his detractors because of his crappy long balls. We were all nervous he would get hurt again but don’t forget a large percentage of the fanbase (admittedly myself included at the time) wanted to see TD replace him.Disagree. We beat VT with him his soph year, Clemson his junior year. Went toe to toe with better FSU, Miami, and LSU teams.
He was good his whole career, he just took a vicious cheap shot to the head from a central Michigan player, and then got lit up again near the end of a blowout, so due to head injuries very early on, we were on pins and needles the rest of his career.
It was evident from day 1 that he “had it”.
Truth ^ There were allot of people clamoring for TD cuz he could spin it better than ED and thought he would be the guy for the dome field advantage. Especially after the Pitt loss. Those takes didn't age to well.People forget Dungey wasn’t Dungey yet as a soph. Even his senior year people were calling for Devito to replace him at one point.

A lot of that was because Dungey would throw the ball into the ground and then start hopping around holding his arm. People thought his rotator cuff was shot or something.Just like it’s evident that GS has something more than TD to make this offense more dynamic. IJS People forget how long it took ED to grow into the Great Dungey
Also the thing that gets lost in the Legend of Eric Dungey© is that early in his senior season he did some really stupid things that were reckless. It wasn't just because at the time there was optimism that DeVito would unlock a new level in the offense, piling up passing yards and points. It was because Dungey would lose his head.A lot of that was because Dungey would throw the ball into the ground and then start hopping around holding his arm. People thought his rotator cuff was shot or something.
It’s not. He’s not quick. But he takes two strides per five yardsYeah, he doesn't look fast.
And then he just keeps going and it takes dudes a while to catch up.
It's weird.
Yes there were plenty of warts around Dungey’s ability to throw that years later people tend to forget about. Nassib too didn’t really become a great Qb for us / fan favorite until his senior season.A lot of that was because Dungey would throw the ball into the ground and then start hopping around holding his arm. I played with a guy like that in highschool. His stride was insane. He looked super slow and then he'd be 20 yards down field. It’s not. He’s not quick. But he takes two strides per five yards

Disagree about Dungey struggling with the deep balls-He was a very accurate deep-ball thrower. If anything, he struggled with the sideline passes.People forget Dungey wasn’t Dungey yet as a soph. Even his senior year people were calling for Devito to replace him at one point.
