Memphis, Indiana, and Penn State are ahead of us in Ken Pom too

so then why are you using "per KenPom" sources selectively?

I actually wish we were in the BigEast instead of the ACC (just from a purely hoops point of view, I get why as an Athletic Department we need to be in ACC). I just think that today is a weird time after losing a heartbreaker at the buzzer to be puffing up and saying "we wouldve won the BigEast this year"

It was just a comment in regards to the GTown game.

If you look at both conferences it’s not close in terms of competition and quality teams. This isn’t the BigEast of yesteryear. The ACC is a better basketball conference and frankly it’s not close. Anyone who thinks otherwise is stuck in a decade ago

The Big East is probably a 3-bid league, barring a Hall run or a bid stealer.

Thats barely above a mid major

No doubt. I was thinking of natural rivals and geography. The BigEast is pretty wide open this year, but so is ACC . It’s just a weird year, and my particular nitpick is that kenpoms a formula designed to compare teams without conference bias. Games are still played on the floor though and momentum matters.
