The alley-oops. Sherm could run those to perfection.

Some of those were insane goal tends. He basically made the shot on a couple and the person just touched it before it went through the net! Should be called a goal tend, but even if they count it you get penalized because instead of 3 points, you only get 2!

Not where I ref. It's where the shooter was that determines it. Not sure about the NCAA, but I'd guess it's the same.

Reminds me, when Warrick blocks Lee's 3 pt attempt, Jim Nantz's (I think?) reaction was absolutely lackluster.
Not what I would have expected considering the stakes.
Because he had already planned what he was going to say when Kansas won.

I rewatched it and disagree - Nantz says "Lee's shot- blocked!"...and then Fudge immediate walks all over him. If there was an issue with the call, it was Fudge babbling like a moron because he loved to hear himself talk.

Packer was the worst announcer ever.

Agree about Packer, but Nantz is the King of prepared winner statements. I just know he was ready with one if Kansas won.

That's one thing that has always bothered me about Costas also. Anytime he announces a big moment, it sounds like he has rehearsed it 50 times.

How about this one:

If we could return to this style of play, we'd have a much easier time landing the elite PG. Boy those days were BIG fun!
