Ming-in-nah? That's how my friends and I pronounced it in Utica-Rome. Still find myself here in SENC some 14 years later after leaving NY. Italian wife from LI had no idea about it.

I remember when I first moved out west and it was at the first health club I worked at I said "mingya that dude got hit wicked friggin hard!" during a hockey game that was playing on tv. They thought I was from another planet.

HCSS just challenged the community to "come out and have a blast" in between about 5 frig/friggen this and that - wish I recorded it. Nico responded "wow I'm fired up" - no wonder why the players wanted him as HC.

Didn't know you could say frig on NBC TV.

HCSS knows its a really important weekend for many reasons - first ACC game, big time recruits, regional/national exposure! He said that the 12th man could be the difference in this game to get the win - he wants the Dome to be friggen rocking!

If that doesn't get you fired up to go to the game I don't know what will. Can't wait!

I think Nico Timerian (sp?) posts here from time to time - I don't remember his handle. PM him to rebroadcast Mondays 6:20 pm sports with HCSS. I did check channel 3 website but not there.
