This matters for two key reasons for me:

1) It’s Red’s third game. He’s still becoming the coach he will be. It matters that he gets a win like this and the guys didn’t give up.

2) going into Maui at 3-0 is sort of house money now.

It’s not 2011. It’s year 1 with Red. We were picked 9th in the ACC. Colgate is a tournament team. Red gets his 2 big recruits next year.

Williams needs to be part of this team's glorious season. If we're running with McLeod 15 and Brown 25 at center, somebody else with shotblocker skills needs to be in there. Bell and Williams also can shoot.
