I will never forget walking out of that pre-fab, built in a day, mobile home of a stadium called the 'Rent back in '05. Worst feeling ever - to know you just got beaten by a glorified high school team. That, and their fans were absolutely the worst - picking fights with 'Cuse fans and showing no sign of class during victory. And as if I couldn't feel worse, a group of older mutt fans come up to me and say, "Why did you get rid of your old coach? He was good. These guys you have are awful..."
Well, let's face it, the last part was indeed correct - the replacements were awful. But how ironic is it that they got their wish by ultimately hiring the famed P&D dynamic duo. Now they are right back where they belong --- in a no-name bs conference losing to world beater 1AA competition. At least Cabela's is next door to their "new, state-of-the-art, eye-popping" 30K seat pop warner 'Rent field - maybe they can turn it into a big aquarium when the mutts drops football.
It couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of classless and clueless "fans". Karma...
