Why are you so high on A&M, mond is no better than ian book, I'd say book is the superior of the two, ND was also without 2 starters on there OL which you'd have to think plays a role. IMO no matter how you slice it bama and clemson play for the title once again.

Texas A&M is a good team but they have a couple of things working against them. Their best win is a narrow home victory over a three loss Florida whose defense can't stop anybody. After that they don't have a win over a team anybody would remotely have in their top 20. Their other problem is that if invited they would most likely be a four seed playing Alabama, a rematch I'm not sure many are interested in watching.

Swinney said it made zero sense to fly across the country to play a game where nobody could watch in person including the families of the players. He wasn't wrong and they finally moved the game. IMO, OSU should not get on because they played 6 games. They benefit from the Big 10 on a lot of things, now it is time to suffer due to the Big 10 decisions.

At least with ND making it we get the marquee Clemson Ohio State rematch. If A+M was in they wouldn't have been allowed to play Bama opening round (maybe they would be allowed but it wouldn't have happened.)

There were only 3 worthy teams this year. Had to put in a 4th. Even if you put A+M as 5 you got 10 equal teams out there for spots 6-8.

Ohio State defense is not like last year. Chase Young destroyed teams. They don’t have that type of talent on the DL.

Northwestern and Indiana are as good as opponents as the SECW schools Bama and A+M played and whomever else is in the ACC.

ND actually beat the team who blew them out this year unlike A+M. I think this is the correct call.

They get to be roadkill for Bama and the other game is a rematch of an excellent game last year.

A+M upsetting Clemson or Ohio State and then losing by 40 to Bama in the NC would have sucked for everyone.

A+M were 0-1 against Alabama.
