Duck Fuke! Pretty soon it’ll be margin call time for Scheyer and his crop reports. People used to bash Cal for doing less with more, and Scheyer has been traveling the same path. I don’t care how much talent they get as long as they keep flaming out in gut wrenching ways.

Duke will pay a 5 star to ride the bench just so they don’t have to face another blue blood program picking them up. The Duke brand is good enough that when that player feels like transferring to get actual playing time the following year they will almost always be a highly sought portal target and get paid anyway.

He’s going to get both of those guys extremely well paid as a result of their draft position. Plus well paid while in school. That recruits itself, regardless of silly things like Tourney results.
