huge game. obviously they let him run more with nothing to lose. he threw perhaps his best game of the year.
had to rewatch the game but only made it threw the first half. a couple of big drops , one cost us a TD. Still in reviewing his throwing out of 22 first half passes by my count he threw 12 good and 10 bad. several bad throws got caught which helps move the chains, his bad throws didnt go to the other team which helps even more.
but he made way more good throws when it mattered yesterday, which is all we care about..
still a ton of room for improvement. the fact we struggle in the red zone is about the QB/WR making plays in tighter coverage. we need to take that step next yr and it will help the running game down there even more.
