I would be surprised if UConn wasn’t a 1 or 2 seed(though that does hinge on Reeds health). They really haven’t been bad. Seton hall is pretty decent considering the lack of funds and Uconn won in their place last night. I don’t think creighton or nova match up well at all. They’ll probably still lose a game or two overall down the line but they already tied for 1st with 5q1 and have the most q1-2 wins (though that won’t last with how bad the BE is it still gives them a good foundations/cushion).Torvik projects them at 9-3 in q1 games which is the Exact same as #1 overall seed duke last season. Houston and auburn had 14+ wins and then every other 1&2 seed had 10-11 sans Gonzaga who was 5-5. Unless they lose a bunch of games they shouldn’t, I’d be surprised if they weren’t a top 2 seed. If the argument was they won’t be a 1 seed I could definitely agree though. They’ll slip up at Creighton, St. John’s or Nova. The NET is working against them. Purdue, Zona, Michigan, Iowa State, Houston, Sparty, Nebraska all have more quad one opportunities and already have the same amount of quad one wins. 8th in the NET right now. And we need to remember Duke is guaranteed nothing less than a 2.
