I see a decommit here we get another who replaces him at the same position right after.

So do we have a stealth QB among us?

yep, the trend is that babers is telling the unworthy to hit the bricks because hes got a better player in the wings.

Every QB we have offered recently has already committed to other schools and Scott de-committed. It's not looking good for QB's this class.

Hard to understand why. Dino had the #2 offense in the nation last year. He was #1 until Baylor put up 756 total yards in the Russell Athletic Bowl. What QB in his right mind wouldn't want to play in Dino's Baylor-style offense?

By running up stats on weakling opponents.

Lets hope that's the case.

I trust the guy but the number of former BG recruits is a bit disconcerting.

Bound to happen in the first year. We are not a school that does better recruiting the year we have a coaching change. Yet.

Big Bad Bowling Green beating up on poor little MAC schools, plus a super soft non-conference schedule of 2 Big 10 teams, a SEC team and little weakling Memphis
Purdue and Maryland in their worst seasons of all time. Memphis , what to make of the AAC .

Its not THAT hard to understand really. a true frosh coming in, and we have a true sophomore that was pretty successful when healthy last year. I wouldn't be at all surprised if that scared some off. Guys that want to play as quick as possible.

I understand that we have a new staff that has declared no promised positions...and I am sure they are selling that. I am just saying its a possibility.

No scheduled visits of any QB -- unlikely we add a frosh QB other than Chapman.

But hold a scholarship, and scout for the best available PG transfer. Would be the best possible outcome, given our situation.

I think Baber's likes Mahoney and is OK with Wilson as workable.

That would not fit with the QBs who played for Babers at E Illinois, or BG, or who he recruited in his classes at those schools.
People tend to under-estimate Mahoney. Still, I believe Babers is not going to stand pat with what we now have.

Mahoney is 6'2" , good size for his system. What he requires his QB to do is make 1 fast read and fire the ball , he can do that , also the system has designed runs which Mahoney is great at . The deep ball needs work , but he made progress. He also seems smart and could learn the system fast.

I like him , just being objective.

Nope. Beating P5 schools no matter how low is an accomplishment for a MAC school. And the other teams were not weakling opponents, they were conference schools - i.e. peer schools.

What they did offensively is impressive for any D1 school.

He'll be 3 or 4, behind Rex and Eric.
