First of all, breathe deep from your abdomen. Inflate your belly and breathe. It helps cut the adrenaline. Second, understand we are not in control of the past or future, only the now. Take a break and watch a movie. Read a book. Give yourself permission to not pay attention to the story for two hours or so. We are all heartbroken about this. But it's out of our hands.
