Wasn't this similar to the Butler game? Rock fight for 35 minutes, we finally look to have a little flow and get a four-point lead, and we're immediately taken out of our offense. The result: horrible out-of-sync possessions for us, a long three for the other team, and an evaporated lead.
MyMelo knows it - we'll see a frustratingly similar game on the last day of our season.
except we win most almost every time he does it.
My prediction is, the last game of this season will end with Dion trying to play hero. We have the ball, down 1 to some team in the Sweet 16...Dion up top, dribbles down to 6 seconds left in the game...hoists a rainbow 3 that touches the ceiling and clanks off the side of the rim. Ballgame. You can almost feel it coming.
You'd be pleased with that, wouldn't you?My prediction is, the last game of this season will end with Dion trying to play hero. Butler game?STALL BALL UP 4 WITH 5 MINUTES LEFT IS A BAD IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We come up with that when the players don't do what JB tells them to do. JB told Waiters after one of his off balanced 3's to drive with the ball. He was 1 on 1 at the top of the key and was afraid to drive. He has too much ability not to drive and shoot or drive and dish when he is isolated like that. What I want to know is how do we come away with those kinds of shots directly AFTER at least one timeout during that horrid 4 min stretch?
Yeah , if JB had learned from those losses we would be undefeated since then. I definitely see the logic in this line of thinking.Butler game?
This is what cost us the Manley Fieldhouse game.
He hasn't learned anything since then.
This is our sweet 16 game...except KJo ain't scoring 29 in the Sweet 16.
