obviously he was not Aaron Rogers Friday, however I don't think that was all on him. What I did see was a kid with a live arm that can sling it, and I can't wait until we have a guy who can deliver throws in step to moving receivers, and in tight windows without requiring our WR's to make circus catches. The WR's are getting slammed but for every drop there was a circus catch or adjusted catch that cannot be ignored.

ED is our team and we go where he takes us (for as long as he takes us), and I think we will be fine. That said I am thinking about when TD gets the reins we are going to have our best pure passer in decades if not ever, and in the modern game sign me up for thrower who can pick people apart with his arm rather than running. Obviously need a larger sample size to fully judge, but you can judge the juice in the arm already.

Bottom line we are better at QB than we have been in a long, long time.

Heck, I could see Culpepper in that power set and running it very well. I agree, I am beyond thrilled with the QB situation and can't remember SU ever having this many solid talented options at QB in my fandome.

My takeaway after his first 2 or 3 throws to the sidelines, he throws a tight spiral.

Firstly, when he went out on the field boy did it make me realize how massive Dungey really is. TD had no help its that simple. He made some freshman mistakes as well, which I am fine with. But the talent is there, you could see it. I am very much looking forward to him taking more snaps against Wagner. These were his first live snaps against another D1 school ever, and his first in game action in 2 years. Anyone who has ever played sports knows how different a real game is, he will bounce back!

Dont sleep on Chance. He has as strong an arm as Tommy is at least 3 inches taller is a great runner with speed.

How's his accuracy though?

I like Touchdowns, too. At least when we are the ones scoring them. Oh, you meant Tommy Devito?

First backup we've seen since Nassib that you can look at and think he actually brings something clearly positive and different from the starter.

Tommy looked good, albeit some expected jitters.

Pierce, our OL and Butler folded when he went in.

These are experienced starters that did not look the part as soon as Dungey went out, and imo (regarding Butler and Pierce) the whole game.

I got no problem giving DeVito PT in games we are ahead or behind by 3 scores.
He clearly has upside and will get better. Right now though with our WR core young it’s better to have the run first QB in Dungey.

Dungey is showing he could be a FB/TE H-back at the next level.

Not sure we were watching the same game. I saw a kid who looked lost, balls sailed on him, miscommunications galore, and a completely ineffective offense. It was also his first PT on the road in a hostile environment that woke up as soon as he came on the field because they were putting up points. That doesn't mean I think he's bad. He looked like a kid in his first college game, nothing more. He made a couple of good throws, that's about it.

two of those positions no longer exist in the NFL...
