Pitt is surging and UF has looked shakey 0f late. I think Lamar Patterson goes crazy on offense and leads Pitt to the win.

I actually think UF might be a better matchup for us if we get to the Elite 8 but I wouldn't mind seeing them upset.

Assuming Pitt plays well like it has of late, It will come down to Floridas 3pt shooting. They shoot a lot of 3s and in a tight game, if you hit one extra 3 or miss a few more than you planned and your percentage dips, it can cost you in the tournament.

I'm not sure which would be better for us, because beating a team thrice in the same season is very hard, especially a Pitt team that is certain it can beat us. But at that point, it would be an elite 8 game after beating Kansas (likely them anyways), you gotta like your chances in that matchup no matter what.

Here's to playing more awesome defense against Dayton today, so we have a shot a KU

This one is going to be a dandy. Pitt matches up well against florida

I was thinking pretty much the same thing.
Could come down to free throws...Pitt shoots better from the line.

Are all of you forgetting that this is Pitt and it's March and not the CBI?
I have complete confidence that Pitt will lose to UCLA in the Sweet 16. That round is their Achilles heel.

With the way Pitt is playing, I think I'd rather see Florida. Zanna is on another planet right now; I could see Rak getting 2 quick fouls in that game.

I think people underrated Pitt all year with the "they didn't play anyone" thing; they're good and beating them 3 times in 1 year would be tough.

Jamie Dixon wins his first game as a lower seed and now people want to think he can upset Florida? Pitt will play respectable then blow it. Pitt is allergic to big wins in the NCAA tournament. I give them credit for beating an undermanned Colorado team but Florida is a complete team and I doubt they will flameout this round.

Pitt is going to come out and punch Florida in a mouth; which is something Florida hasn't played against all year. We may dog Pitt, but they are as physical of a team as any in the country; Florida isn't really built like that. I could see the Gators getting really frustrated.

I totally agree!

I would like to see Pitt win and I think they have a chance....

Until I saw Jarhead predicted the win...

If you take it back, Pitt will have a chance again...

Joking, Jim!! It is kind of strange that we might be pulling for Pitt to win a game...

I'm a Panthers fan today. Rarely in any sport am I a Gators fan. Go PITT!

Pitt matches up well and Dixon will eventually break through and make noise in a tourney. This is the perfect storm for Dixon, nothing to lose, playing the overall #1 seed, nobody respects them, how can Pitt lose?

If it is close and Florida presses, it is over. That display against North Carolina was a disaster.

As much as I dislike Pitt and would like to see them get stomped, I have to root for them as it could make an easier path for our Cuse.

Honetly would rather have Florida than Pitt. Hard to beat a team 3 times in one season unless their 2012.

Boooooom - banked three and a free throw.

Florida may be in trouble...bank'd threes are never a good sign!

Pitts offense is disgustingly bad right now. I know UF has a good defense but Pitt is lucky if they could convert a lay up at this point.

Tomlin looks like he put on a few pounds since the season ended.

Isn't Belichick's son a Rutgers grad? Either way, Belicheat is a POS.
