yea he was an under the radar kid with great size but wasn't highly rated. Only played two games each of the past two years with limited stats. Hope he lands in a good spot. Probably wasn't sniffing the two deep soon.

I think the guys we see moving are buried on the depth charts so far. Fran said he has little interest in trading twos for twos, so I suspect these spots will free up slots for potential transfers to compete as starters (which we need).

Id venture to say a lot of our transfers might be. These kind of guys, aka Athletic Kids Fran knew from Jersey who have potential but 2 years on haven't really shown it

We were his only P5 offer, hell according to 247 we were his only offer in general.

Malachi James, ignoring whatever drama there may be, also fits this mold

Hmm I thought he was going to be good and had high hopes for him.
Still has 3 years left. Wonder where the staff thinks his skills are lacking.
As others stated, I assume he is not in the plans to be a likely starter next year or else he'd likely be staying.
