This is of course assuming Dino gets bought out at the end of the year, and Coach O is available.

None of these three will be the next HC. Patricia will stay at NFL, Coach O has bigger issues (legal), Tony White we did this experiment with Shafer.

My first few phone calls would be: Dave Clawson, Jamey Chadwell, Joe Moorhead, Jeff Monken, Justin Outten in no specific order. Justin would get the alumni call - would be interesting to see the Packers offense in the Dome. Of all of those - Chadwell would fit what we have now the best and his offense is fun to watch.

I’d love, if we didn’t happen to perform this year we’d be looking for someone that can do a better job. But it’s not happening. He’s won 2 more than last year. SU can always hang their hat on, this year we improved

Orgeron did a great job with the D-line here but i feel he packs a bit too much baggage. staff sure. HC no.

Can you imagine his press conferences? What a nightmare.

Orgeron has been the worst coach in FBS since their amazing season. He’s toast.

Patricias baggage is close to SU no way especially after failing miserably in Detroit.

White gets interim tag if Dino has a bad start next year and we see what he looks like. If we lose out or drop UConn he’s in charge.

Hiring a guy without prior, successful, Head Coaching experience would be a major fail imo. I don't want on the job training. But if you go that route you better get it right. I'm watching Jeff Hafley intently...BC took a chance but at least Hafley is from NJ and has the recruiting pull.

I do believe it can be an attractive job with competitive money and all the new facilities. In addition, anyone can look at the roster and see that it's not a total rebuild (as long as you come in and convince the kids to stick it out.)

Wildhack has shown though he's not going to think outside the box. He's going to hire an SU guy or from within and I think he'd go big on bringing back Doug Marrone. It just seems to be his style.

Unless something unforeseen and catastrophic happens between now and then, my answer is I don't care. Because I'm taking a leave if we go right back to the start-from-scratch route. I'll check back in the first time we're ranked in the AP top 25.

don't see a change unless we go 0 for 6 to close this year out.
It just seems like getting anyone to coach football at SU is REALLY tough.
The pool of quality people, qualified people...it's just NOT that deep. We're stuck with Dino
and he's stuck with us.. But could it be the "fix" could be simple as hitting the portal
for an edge rusher and a big time WR?

Raking leaves is not an option

You are missing the likely replacement if there is one

LOL so three more than UConn. Yeeehawwwww!

We need to cool on these for a bit. Yeah, some decisions that he's doubled down on have us scratching our head. But he's going to get a chance to see this through with Shrader/Tucker/young WRs/young OL, and the defense, where we seem to be getting our best recruits.

We're playing competitive football and it's a huge step up from 2020, and even a big step up from 2019 when we were so often boat raced.

The bumps/bruises/defections may be taking their toll a bit, and 3 more games until a bye week, so maybe things will go south and then we can all fantasize about what comes next.

It will either be a good bye week exercise, or it won't. But let the staff and kids play this out for now.
