If this is the ACC Network, then prepare to be disappointed

that's just adding a category on the watch espn app. definitely not an "acc network"

If it were, why does it exclude the other Big 5 conferences because of their own networks.

What network does the Big 12 have?

It is interesting though to see a writer for Nunes, which despite much great work, can be a bit of a drama queen of a blog when it comes to anything that can be perceived as a negative for SU/ACC, is the first to comment on that story. A story that links to a Nunes post on the same subject.

So insanely much ado about nothing and is pretty clearly just mindless noise/clickbait.

Someone has some explaining to do. On the surface, it doesn't appear to be very good. It doesn't involve any extra money.

But I'd like to hear whether this negates an ACC Network channel down the road. If it does, it's bad news.

My guess is that they're going to make the alternate 'ACC Network' broadcasts for the ACC tournament available. There are separate broadcasts with ACC specific announcers that are shown in North Carolina. I bet they're going to make those available on the Watch ESPN app. ESPN and the ACC aren't stupid enough to roll out some 'secret' network on their mobile/web app. All that said, thanks for sharing the article.

At ease everyone....does not indicate anything...we are moving forward with an ACCNetwork....relax...whispers and stealth are taking care of this--patience is a virtue...I do not have!!!

It's Good to be 'Cuse!! The Order of the 'Cuse Orange..

I read that "article" but I don't really know what they're talking about. I'm assuming we are actually going to have an ACC network like the Big Ten network and the Pac 12 network. I hope so otherwise there are going to be some problems down the road…

This is not the ACC Network, it's just an search aggregation on Watch ESPN.

It's not a big deal. Just like they group things by sports now, they are just adding grouping by Conference members.

That's it.

And I'm not trying to be overly harsh, but in reading through the comments on the Nunes story, John Cassillo seems like an idiot. How one moves from a reorganization of a freaking ESPN app to OMG NO ACC NETWORK and "I'm going to wildly speculate with no basis in fact. And look! ACC fans are worried and therefore my pointless speculation is justified."

No clue if he considers himself a "journo," but dear lord, talk about creating a story out of nothing and then doing backflips to try to justify his BS "story." It's frustrating that such a high profile SU blog always seems to have a sky is falling take on everything.

Is that the same John Cassillo who wrote for the Daily Orange?

Really pissed me off. I post as 'blacklips' over there but I'm done arguing about it.

Isn't that exactly what "journos" do these days? ;)

Thanks for calling him out.

And I wonder if the fact that the B1G / Pac 12 / SEC aren't listed is because the entirety of the ACC Tournament is broadcast by ESPN while those conferences have multiple media partners. I think that's fairly obvious, but if you need pageviews, that's a far less interesting take. But like you said, the Boneyard morons and WVU idiots need BS speculation as their life force.

This is all getting set up for the upcoming Men's and Women's conference basketball tournaments that ESPN has exclusive broadcast rights to. The Big Ten must be planning to show its tournament on BTN. The SEC maybe on CBS? PAC XII on their network. Big XII and Big East on Fox. Atlantic 10 on CBS?

This is not the ACC network.

Haven't you learned that trying to discuss anything involving the ACC on the Boneyard in a rational matter is impossible? Especially when you throw in a WVU clown.

I've actually had some good discussion over there with many of the regular posters. But the WVU clown is truly off the charts crazy. He's even driving the UConn folks crazy.

You should go to the WVU Big 12 site on Scout. They jumped all over this and basically state this will be the straw that breaks the camel's back. FSU and other football schools will leave the ACC and head to the Big 12.

Doesn't he live in Malibu ? That would explain it.
