- Blind hope that we’ve got a guy so good that he’ll singlehandidly turn us around just waiting in the wings, born out of 15 years of misery.

For as great as Dungey is he makes a lot of questionable decisions and leaves a lot of yards on the field. Like today for some odd reason he cut back left on the 4th down when all his blockers were going right. That was a terrible decision.

In other games, Mtsu, all the options when he keeps that he should pitch etc.

It's maddening but without him we'd be dead in the water.

Yeah I think he saw the action moving that right and decide to cut back left where we had 2 linemen on 2 defenders. The LG whiffed in his block and the LT was out of position standing between the 2 defenders thus blocking neither. I think the initial read was fine but didn't work out so it turns out as a bad decision. However if we win the 2v2 matchup he gets it easy and likely a TD because all the defenders were following the action to their left.

The OP clearly just doesn't like #Done-gy. Clouds your judgement my friend. He is far from perfect but if you think th staff doesn't like having him you are nuts. Zero running threat by running backs, constantly under pressure with short time in the pocket yet he still gets results. I am sure they care more about having wide receivers line up where they are supposed to on touchdowns. This team has problems and Dubgey isn't in the top 10

Have to remember that he's playing behind a very young OL that has not provided any kind of running attack.

He also has decent WRs but nobody who can truly separate.

In some ways he's out there by himself.

Why do you guys think DeVito will start next year? We have 90% of our production leaving in Ish and Erv and Dungey's 3 years experience may be all that keeps us afloat.


Dino wants Tommy, with the system down to a T, going in with Hendrix/Harris/RTB/Johnson/Johnson/Jordan/Butler/Queeley etc. etc. all with the system down to a T.

That happens in 2019 in my opinion and not a moment sooner. I don't give a hell for the posters who expected us to magically become a 8-10 win team within just 3 years. It doesn't happen. Our team sucked 2 years ago. You don't just flip it around, then lose all your vets, and pray for continuity.

but I don't think that dungey is what the staff wants at QB. I think that they have to try to make it happen, because Dungey is the best option at QB, so they are totally changing what they want to do based on the QB. regardless of the numbers, dungey is an option quarterback being shoehorned into a read/react passing offense. I don't think we will know what babers offense is until we see DeVito.

It wouldn't be any different with DeVito; it's lack the of a running game and discipline (too many penalties).
