There's not a ton to work with. Shame that Hunt got the ball on guys in the endzone and they couldn't squeeze it.
Giving up 17 should be good for a W.
I didn't love some of the calls but..Regardless, GM had an AWFUL game calling plays. Just frustrating.
Agreed there's not a lot to work with. That's still no excuse for the hot mess (in terms of play calling) that was displayed on the field today. There's not a ton to work with. Shame that Hunt got the ball on guys in the endzone and they couldn't squeeze it.

I didn't love some of the calls but..
- your QB can't throw an accurate screen so none of those plays work
- your receivers dropped two td passes
- your line can't block #97 AT ALL
I mean...what plays are going to work?
Well that is kind of my point - you are throwing passes to defensive backs. And as for running right at him we tried a lot of perimeter runs and they didn't work either. I don't know...I just think it's easy to blame play calling after the plays don't work. The main reason why we don't have a good offense is we don't throw it well, catch it well, or block it well. And oh yeah we can't kick it either.- Stop running screens repeatedly then.
- One was a defensive back, one looked interfered with. Both great passes though.
- Dude is going to win awards at the end of the year. STOP running directly at him.
Missed EP was not his fault. The line blocks like they were supposed to and we're in OT.

So what plays should we run?I can only speak for myself, but I've been consistent all year long that I think WR screens, read option, and no huddle with this level of talent is absolutely ridiculous

So what plays should we run?
Seems like our success rate on slants is pretty low though? Brolyd certainly has caused at least one pick that I can think of by not competing for the ball on one. We ran one today on a 3rd down and Hunt threw it into the d-lines face mask. We ran one on another third down and Clark didn't sit down in the zone and Hunt threw it behind him. So not sure the slant is the answer. Like an occasional go off the WR screen. Not sure the D respects it enough to come up hard enough to make it work though. All goes back to lack of playmakers in my opinion.Quick slants, which we almost never do and more throws to our TEs. Wales has been under-utilized all year. if we are going to run WR screens ( and IMO we run them too much), why not fake off of that and hitch and go? There is no ingenuity.
You really think we don't run enough power inside runs? We run more of that than any other play don't we? I mean...I don't entirely disagree with you on the play calling. But it's more of a personnel issue.Let's see...we have a 2 giant RBs. How about more power inside runs? How about running plays w/ a FB in the game? How about more play action with the WRs going DOWN THE FIELD vs popping back for screens. How about more two TE sets vs 3 WRs when you have very little talent at WR? How about huddling to make sure everyone knows the play and count to fix the penalty issues we've seen ALL SEASON LONG?

I would say we have zero. Smith had one 36 yd run and 15-50 on the rest of them. I don't mind Morris getting some carriesWe have 1 NFL level playmaker. He touched the ball 16 times in a game he should've touched it 25 times.
Disagree. Very slow execution by nortonMissed EP was not his fault. The line blocks like they were supposed to and we're in OT.
