I'm sorry but McDonald blows...

That offense averaged 330 yards a game. This one averages 365

See my post on this.

Paulus lost Mike Williams.

He was a much more effective QB than Hunt.

By the UConn game GP was pretty much cooking.

Huh? The week before he threw for 140 yards against Rutgers. The prior two games he threw for 89 against L'Ville and 120 and picks against Pitt. I love Greg, but I wouldn't say he was "cooking".

I don't have time right now to retrieve my media guide.

I recall that Paulus had an outstanding game against a good UConn team.

Are you really suggesting that Hunt is a more effective QB than Greg Paulus?

I love TH, but he can't throw a short slant pattern these days.

he had a 170 rating against rutgers, had 170+ against uconn

2 conf games in a row that good is unheard of around here

nassib didn't even do that last year (although we're just talking rounding error shy)

Absolutely not. But that offense was not humming. Outside of Rutgers (which he was 13 of 16 for 140) and UCONN, do either of you remember our offense the previous 5 games. It sucked.

Well, UConn was the final game of the year and the offense was quite good that day.

And I thought Paulus operated the offense pretty darn well. I'm pretty sure he set season records for completions and completion % that year.

I would have liked to have seen him at the helm with 2 minutes to go Saturday.

Here we go again...great freaking call on 4th down in BC game:bang:
