Those were road games not home games, there's a difference. I'm glad we got the W, I'm just disappointed by our 2nd half play.

Funny stats ...

1. they beat us in steals :crazy: only other stat they won was FG %
2. We finally won in rebounding and offensive boards.
3. We shot 17-23 from the line.
4. We both shot exactly 23 free throws can't argue home cooking there.
5. Somewhere in that mess KJO managed 17

As always Scoop, Dion, Fair, Melo, KJO, Dion, Triche, made some huge plays. Keita had a big foul shot or two and a putback as well. Southerland had a nice elbow jumper.

We opened a huge lead on a very good team, squandered most of that lead a few times and still put them away late. What the hell is there not to respect about that? Last I knew, you don't get style points in basketball.

I'm happy with this win, and no less impressed by this team than I was before.

Won a game, kept ten guys healthy, and still have plenty of things to work on in practice - sounds like positives across the board. We're not looking for national respect; we're looking to win games and improve as a team.

Though I don't want to us play a game reffed by the no-name guy (Gaffney) again; after Fab committed his fifth, he was woofing at the ref the whole way down court. Fab was understandably pissed, but that's the kind of conduct that's going to be remembered.

Maybe we should be MORE impressed with this team. One of the marks of a great team is winning ugly sometimes. Most teams have to play their "A" game to beat Syracuse, & CUSE only has to play their "C" or "D" game to win...
