Please change the title of your thread to "...has been awful for the last 5+ years." This is just brutal. I've been ready for a change for years. Hopefully next year it will finally happen. SU is not SU at this point. It's tough to watch.

I've said this for years now. It's a broken record at this point, but our ability to GIVE UP points with ball and no shot clock, is unmatched. As you said... if you do absolutely nothing, it's a better outcome.

One thing is for sure... these losses are not falling under the slide rule because that accounts for when we are winning with a few minutes left. Nothing about blowing leads so early in the second half that you no longer lead late.

Only one who could pass for a look against the half-court press was Edwards. Its not coaching. And that's with 2 pgs on the floor. Benny has to play, but so does frank for next year. The press comes on, then Jimmy has to come out; not Cole. Not one pass to the waist or chest against the press; not one.

Maybe it’s hyperbolic to say but this year is going to potentially cost Buddy a chance in the NBA, and it was on purpose. If Buddy is playing with a really good PG, it makes him look so much better. So much of his game is being exposed by being asked to do too much and it’s effecting his shooting.

At this point with the season basically over at the beginning of January I now wouldn’t be surprised if he came back.

They're all tainted, of course. This is their team too. And if it isn't, then we're really not pushing Boeheim to pasture if one of this assistants takes over. No guarantee that the same superior-inferior relationship between the new HC and JB wouldn't continue in retirement.

Love those guys, but you can’t promote an assistant from a bad team.

The time to do that was years ago. And we didn’t. Too late.

symir needs to play. its been obvious for awhile now. its really baffling what jb is doing this year. the way he coached the 2nd half against gtown and tonite is the difference between us being on the bubble and not even sniffing it. we should be 9-5, 2-1 in the acc, and 2 more road wins under our belt.

gimme a legit pg who cant shoot over whatever the hell girardi is doing when hes at the point, especially facing pressure. lazerus sims couldnt shoot either and he helped get us to a monday nite in april.

Benny needs to be aggressive when he comes in. He isn't. When he gets the ball he immediately looks to pass it. Maybe that's what JB wants him to do. If that's the case he's hurting the kid. This kid needs to be told, you're a player, you have talent, let it come out. Don't be afraid to make a play and take a shot if you have it.

While Jimmy deserves blame for mismanagement, saying he is the king of no adjustments is literally not even close to being the truth. His mid-game adjustments during the Big East would be a big difference maker.
