Thread title says it all...I’m proud of this team but I kept thinking comic back to the Dome 6-0...ranked...and somehow in the playoff discussion.

Yeah I may be a little crazy haha.

Off to Pitt in a week. I’ll be there!

I cried for a bit. Frustration mostly of knowing what could have been...but I think we look good and will have a great season. And I found some jerk on FB to take my anger out on so that helps.

Sports are funny...

If we "kept it close" through the whole game and lost by 16 we'd be feeling pretty good that we didn't get completely blown out by one of the best teams in the country.

Instead we almost won but feel gutted.

Yeah, defense ran out out gas...

The better team showed up in the second half.

We did try to draw them off sides all game or spy their defensive set.

It seemed to really eliminate our fast snap offense.

Not sure that was a good thing, as slow and methodical is not in Dungey's DNA...

Like I said in another thread I feel how I felt after we lost to Tenn in Mcnabbs senior year. But I guess that’s better than being indifferent after losing 51-3 or some sht.

Sucks. I was emotionally invested in that game as I am any Syracuse basketball tournament game. If we just had a bit more talent.

It hurts but we got beat and I think Clemson deserved to win, which takes some of the sting out. They led in first downs 28-12 and outgained us 469-311. Our second half TD came from a very fortunate break.

The offense just wasn't good enough in the second half because Clemson's defense is uber talented and deep, and the defense wore down in the 4th.

Missed opportunity sure, but probably a fair result.
