First game, ah it's just an FCS team and a crappy one at that, can't tell what we have yet or if we're any good. Especially with losing our top two O players. Happy scale of 0-10, happy at a 2. Sadness scale at a 7 losing Hunt, Irv and it's just RI, so I'm more sad than happy and really can't enjoy it.

Second game, its one on the historic worst teams in FBS, and we lose our best lineman, but nice to be 2-0 and to see a qb that may give us a future. Happy scale at a 5, bummed scale still at a 7, so I'm still more sad than happy.

Third game, scrappy CMU team, and yeah we're 3-0 for the first time in like forever, but crap we lose our playmaker difference maker qb for who knows how long due to vicious nearly criminal hit, lose our best WR....happy scale at a 7, sad scale at a 9 as without Dungy we're dead in the water with no chance to be competetive at all (likely) in the big games. So I'm still more bummed than anything and the least happy yet.

Least satisfying 3-0 ever. I just want to be happy happy with no sad after a freaking win! Cripes. Here's hoping Dungy is ok and I don't mean just football. That was a high speed dangerous severe injury potential collision.

This is one of those games that is a bittersweet win. But a bittersweet win is better than a warm fuzzy loss any day of the week. Towards the end of the year when we are searching for those last 1-2 wins for a bowl berth, we'll all feel much happier about this win.

And tbh, the most important thing is that ED comes out of it in a couple weeks healthy and ready to tackle the post-LSU games.

CMU is better then what most people believe. Yes our secondary is a mess. They have an experienced QB and a good to great OL.

Yeah Rush threw for 500 yards and 7 scores in a bowl game last season ... yet this board goes into meltdown yielding 27 points .. 24 in regulation and it would have been less if ED doesn't get hurt ... the defense played the entire second half ... people just can't get a grip.

The board has more went into a meltdown over the bad coaching decisions. Not the playing. Well maybe the tackling.

Yep they want to question every decision they don't agree with yet SU won ... hope they fire that Urban Meyer fellow at OSU ... they could only beat a MAC team by 7.

Urban Meyer has a history of winning national championships. Our coach has a history of making terrible decisions in game.

Well looks like this point went over your head ... all coaches make questionable decisions ... all armchair internet fanboys are right 100% of the time because they can speculate boundlessly while not seeing what is going on, on the field or have advanced knowledge of personnel so there are no wrong answers for them.

I'm not seeing this point that is going over my head. All coaches make questionable decisions so let's not question it?

The point is they make decisions based on information the average idiot watching at home doesn't have ... they make them for a reason yet the average idiot at home is 100% right ... whether its Urban Meyer or Scott Shafer every fan is oh so much more intelligent that is my point ... people on this board need to get a friggin grip.

Oh well you're wrong about that. There's this thing called math which can be used to determine a correct or incorrect choice. Not a lot of coaches are a fan of the MATH.

Just give up. Look - coaches make tons of decisions and some make them look like geniuses and done make them look awful. It's a oblong ball that bounces funny. He's made a bunch of good decisions too.

Point is - he made a good one there. Was it the result of not being lined up properly? Sure. Was that his fault or the players or the DC or what? Who knows. We know that ended up being a good one.

He did proper math: 1 WR > 0 DB

They scored a TD after the TO. How did the decision to take the TO end up being a good one?

He gave his players a better chance at stopping the play. Percentages. You know? MATH.

The CM coach is a criminal and #s 42 and 44 are pure THUGS ! They should charge them with assault ! I saw that play 10 times . They really tried to break his leg .

My favorite college team is 3-0. I am happy. I hope Dungey heals well and quickly. The hit was a stupid choice for defensive player, it will mark him and the coach will have to gain control of the player or he will be marked as a cheater. Time to enjoy the victory the Orange gave us to enjoy. We will have a day or so to savor this victory. By Monday, we will be in full "Next Game Up" mode, focusing on LSU.

Thanks to the team and the staff. I can brag that my Orange are 3-0. This sounds simplistic because it is. Football is entertainment unless a person is fortunate enough to play or coach, the rest of us are there for our team, to be entertained. I love sports, but the truth is, my family is more important. I love my Orange (Giants and Yankees, too), but my wife and daughters come first. I say this to keep perspective and hopefully pull a few of my fellow Orange fans from the edge of the abyss. We won! Enjoy it!
