It’s frustrating because a lot of this is fixable and we aren’t fixing it which means we won’t reach our ceiling. The garbage turnovers could easily be cleaned up. Having a plan for end of game situations is something all coaches(at least my coaches) practiced for. It doesn’t look like we do that. The constant subbing costs us momentum. JJ needs to have his minutes cut wayyyyy back. His splits in ACC play going back to the end of last January are something like 30/20/60.

This is who Red is. We played well at Pitt, SMU and VT down the stretch last year for most of those games, but ultimately we blew those games because we didn’t have a plan at the end and relied too much on JJ being a black hole. This year we have Donnie so we won the game today. We’ll lose games to better teams later because we won’t play hard for 40 minutes and we’ll do
stupid things on the court.

I think it's also frustrating because issues are fixable but I know they won't be fixed. Red has decided he will die on the playing JJ hill and doesn't care that he can't move with out the ball or shoot consistently or make good decisions. It's like Boeheim with JG3 playing all game long and not seeing his faults or being too stubborn to admit he is wrong.
