It's a nice feeling

This time last year we were all going nuts over HCDM leaving for the NFL.. Black Monday was a day we all did not wanna see coming. If you jump around to different schools boards it's panic city... I really did not like it last year.. I'm SOOOOOOO glad HCSS is OUR coach and we are not going through this this year! It's a nice feeling to sit back and worry the next recruit and not the next coach and recruit and keeping the class together and every thing else that go with it...

And it turned out a lot better than expected. I would never have thought that I would be happy Marrone left but I am. Much happier with Schafer as I think he's a true college coach and completely gets the culture. Doug was an NFL guy not well suited for the college game.

Totally agree. I never saw Doug leaving so quickly,but it is what it is. I love the passion this coaching staff brings. Now,with a bowl win behind us,it's easier to appreciate all the learning on the job that went on game by game. We should really hit the ground running this off season...
