We are all in a little bit of shock right now because, quite frankly, we aren't used to losing prior to the New Year. We hadn't lost a November game in 7 years. People were just starting to use the 1st generation iPhone the last time we lost a game in November.
Every single year there are teams that stumble out of the gate with a few losses, and then by January/February they hit their stride and are clicking on all cylinders. I feel like Louisville has seasons like that all the time. Maybe we can forego our February slump this year in lieu of a November slump. The fact is, this was our first game against real competition for like 50% of our players.
If we aren't on probation this year, I'm still confident that we'll be around a 5-6 seed come tourney time.
