So do my Celtics have a realistic chance vs the Cavs in the playoffs? I've been following the standings and stats all year so I know we took over #1 in the Eastern Conference now. But I haven't seen very much on tv with the college season going on and work being insanely busy.

Celtics can't beat Cleveland unless they make an insane amount of 3's and Cleveland plays like garbage.
I want the C's to make the ECFs win multiple games and get the first or second pick in the lottery. Package that pick and other assets for Paul George. Hope the Lakers lose their first pick to Philly and sell George on signing a 4 year extension because the Lakers suck now and he can win in Boston.
Then with George, IT, Horford, and whatever young assets they keep and contend next year.
If Celtics get a top 2 pick. Then tell Indiana you can have two of Bradley, Smart, Brown, Rosier, Crowder and the draft pick for George.

I was wondering when the Kardashian curse would hit the Cavs. I had a bad feeling watching the Cavs-Orlando game last night and seeing Tristan Thompson's girlfriend, Khloe Kardashian, sitting courtside in Cleveland. Tristan Thompson out tonight against Celtics, games-played streak ends at 447

I really don't think it will matter if CLE gets the 1 or 2, but should be a fun game. I think CLE is still walking to the Finals.
Separately, Russ goes for the Triple Double record tonight against Memphis. Memphis is coming off a brutal loss to the Spurs that they should have won.

Agreed. Miami's just volatile. You don't want volatile lined up against you when you're seeded better. You want consistency.
Yeah Miami is a scary team I just don't think they would beat Boston 4 of 7.
They would cause a long series though.
I think the worst matchup for the Celtics IMO would be the Hawks.
That is why I want to see them beat Cleveland tonight and lose to Atlanta tomorrow so they don't fall to the 7 or 8 seed.
Miami doesn't have the bigs beyond Whiteside to kill the Celtics on the boards. Rebounding is their biggest weakness.
If Dion is healthy they can be.
Atlanta is a worse matchup for Boston than Miami.
Miami is guard orientated. I think the Celtics can match their guard play. Celtics struggle with teams that have athletic bigs who can kill them on the glass.

Those teams scare me first round.
Miami/Chicago would be competitive but the Celtics would win the series 6 or 7 games IMO.
Miami is more a bad matchup for Cleveland than Boston because the Cavs strength is LeBron and they don't have the guards in their second unit. That is why they got Deron Williams.
Miami could throw Johnson, Dragic, Waiters at Cleveland. Miami bigs are the other Johnson and Whiteside.
If Boston gets their ideal first round opponent it would be Indiana and I think they would win that one in 5.

LeBron has played practically the whole game. He sat for 2 minutes.
Cleveland is up 9 but I think the Celtics have a run in them.

It seems to be going a little under the radar, but Curry has really been in top form lately. He went 8-13 from 3 last night. He was 9-14 the other day. He's gotten to the point where those types of games are kindve taken for granted from him, but that's pretty crazy shooting to do that twice in 3 games.
