It's showtime -- let the (NBA) games begin!

No. KP is a stretch five that can be a #1 scorer and is legit minstrelsy over seven feet.

FT% in college is a big indicator of potential 3pt FG% in the NBA. Fultz stinks at FTs. Same with Ball.

I want Phil to go, draft Fox, trade Melo for Blake and move KP to the five.

There's just no chance you get Blake for Melo at this point in his career; especially with the trade clause. If the Knicks can get Austin Rivers or Justise Winslow as has been rumored, they should take it and run.

Mostly agree with the rest though. There's no need to panic with Porzingis. The Knicks can basically lock him in for the next 8 or so years. I think Porzingis will end up being a good #2 guy, but I'd still rather keep him for his potential. I suppose you could consider it if the Brooklyn pick wins the lottery, but I'd be pretty hesitant to pull the trigger regardless. A guy like Porzingis can help offset the shooting of Fox for example.

If Melo and Dion both end up on the Heat, I will root for Miami almost as hard as I root for the Orangemen next year.

Well Game 1 was a lot of fun for me at least. I've been telling everyone that the Bucks will need to bring their A+ game to pull off the upset this series. They did that for one game. Even Middleton, who REALLY struggled shooting the ball, had a nice all-around game. I was legitimately proud watching Monroe today. He was simply phenomenal; defense, rebounding, passing, just a really great game from him.

I still don't expect to win this series, but that was a great team performance.

I do not have any idea what that means, but I. Am. SOLD.

I'm not positive, but I think Dion is a free agent again this summer? Not sure Miami can afford to keep him if they were to pursue Melo.

I thought that to, but what do you think the Clips could get? You never get an equal return when giving up a star.

I just don't know what else they could get.

Blake is a top 10-15 player in the NBA and is still pretty young. They can do a lot better than Melo for him if they actually decide to move on from Blake, which I still don't think they'll do.

Melo is still 22 and 6. And that was with a horrible last month, where he wasn't all that engaged with the team out of it and all the BS going on. People have been wanting to act like he's washed up for too long, with him still producing.

Put him with Chris Paul and he's probably still 22 and 6, but much more efficient.

I think you can make an argument he's no longer a top 15 player. Also, if the Clips lose in the first or second round, they are making a change. Doc will def be gone, but they are going to move others, too. It's not working.

Maybe they can get a different haul for Blake (picks, young guys) but I don't think they can get better.

Do you go picks and young guys when you've got Chris Paul? You can't, right?

It wouldn't make sense to go picks and young guys with that roster, unless they're going to move Paul and Jordan too.

If they absolutely are set on moving Blake, who are they going to get that's better than Melo for the next 2-3 years?

Blake is still a beast when healthy, IMO. From an outside observer, I wouldn't move him. But who knows what's going on there.

The difference is that due to the mess in New York right now + the NTC, Melo has basically zero trade value. Blake is an efficient 22/8/5 guy with decent defense; and he's probably capable of much more rebounding and assisting if he were without DeAndre dominating the glass and CP3 dominating the ball. I don't really see how anyone could think he's not a top 15 player.

In my opinion, if the Clippers decide to blow up their trio, it should be CP3 that they let go. CP3 is an amazing player, but if I'm blowing it up, I'd rather keep the two younger guys.

I don't think CP3 is staying if you are rebuilding, I agree.

The other thing, I'm not sure what star, like Blake, would want to come to ny to play in the triangle.

So the Spurs game got a bit out of hand...

Looking forward to the Jazz/Clips.

I think Jazz/Clips, Bucks/Raptors, and Wizards/Hawks should all be long series's. Maybe OKC/Rockets too.

I feel kindve bad for the Grizzlies. Amazing that they've had the season they've had. They've got like 3 players. Parsons' body being shot really screwed them this year.

The Clippers are done. If you can't beat the Jazz without Gobert At home I can't see them winning this series.

Sounds like Gobert's injury is a hyperextension and bone bruise. He probably needs a little time, but the team could very well rally knowing that he can come back at some point.

Oh man, Gobert goes down for the Jazz on the very first play in the game, and they win on a Joe Johnson roller over DeAndre Jordan at the buzzer.

Clips got punked.

Collins sounded disappointed on the broadcast. It was a little weird.
I was a little disappointed in that they couldn't contain Chris Paul in the 4th. He tried to put the Clips on his back but the Jazz made key baskets. No way I wanted any part of OT especially since it was already 1:15 eastern time.

I wonder if instead of collapsing when Gobert went down the Jazz kept it together, but the Clippers started counting their chickens right away
