It's showtime -- let the (NBA) games begin!

I think it's worth noting that Mike Brown is coaching the Warriors. IMHO I think his rotations stink. I could see that costing them a game in either of the next two series. That could be a difference.

Chad Ford reporting that in addition to the Kings, agents are refusing to let their players work out for the Celtics leading up to the draft. This happens with the Kings every year. I don't think they had a workout with a single first round prospect last year. Celtics is strange though. Only thing I can think of is that this is referring to the PGs and they don't want to be stuck as a backup in Boston.

The only PG the Celtics will draft is Fultz.
They don't want Ball or the rest.

If the Celtics don't get Fultz or Jackson I would expect they would contact the Lakers about Ingram if they lose their pick to Philly.

Would love Jackson.

Would also love Drummond like rebounder though. We seriously lack toughness downlow.

didn't see it, but boy was he getting killed on the radio this AM.

did he mail one in??

heard the optics were really, really bad. like he tanked on purpose to make a point or something.

Reminds me of his Arizona St performance in the 2009 NCAA'S in Miami against us. Harden was horrible, some thought he was sick but after the game saw him tooling around in Miami Beach with Jonny Flynn and Paul Harris.

There's no big man worth taking in the top 5. There's Markannen but he wouldn't be the type of guy you're looking for.

Jackson is going top 5.
I wouldn't take him if I were Boston because he is too similar to Jaylen Brown.

Phoenix wants Jackson the most of the top teams drafting.

Tatum is also a borderline top 5 pick but more likely 6-9 pick.

Of course it was shady it's the Warriors. Have they won a playoff series against a healthy team yet?

It's so nice the world will be backing LeBron when he takes down these frauds and cements himself as the greatest basketball to ever play.

I don't have that much disdain for GSW, but I at least want SAS to get a legit shot at them.

If Bron beats them again, he's got to be at least #2 of all time.

Its too bad the spurs couldn't finish, I would have liked to see Gs deal with some adversity, I still think the Spurs can win a couple of games.

Leonard getting hurt this series is over in 4.

The upgrade the Warriors made from Harrison Barnes to top 5 player Kevin Durant was beyond noticeable in games like this. With Durant taking those shots Barnes clanked in game 7 last year its a different ball game.

This was the game the Spurs should have won. Game 2 will be a blowout.

Spurs will come hard in game 3 and that will determine if this goes 4 or 5.

I never thought LeBron could catch Jordan for #1 but if he beats this stacked Golden State team he is legitimately in the discussion.
Just like the fact Joe Montana was 4-0 in SBs doesn't mean losing before the finals makes you a greater player.
LeBron is going to make his 8th Finals.
Going 4-4 doesn't mean he can't catch 6-0. If he gets to 6 he passes Jordan.

Zaza had to know what he was doing. He got unnecessarily closer after the shot was already released. Unless he's just that much of a klutz.

Jackson and Tatum are wingmen though; certainly not an Andre Drummond-like player.

1. He definitely is that much of a klutz.
2. You see guys close out like this all the time.
3. The first two points don't mean that Zaza didn't know what he was doing; he's always been a sneaky dirty player.

Zach Collins is the guy who will rise up the draft boards. My prediction.

There was at least one stretch late thirs or early 4th where he had both Steph and KD sitting. WHY?

Definitely could be. He was sooooo good for Gonzaga this year in a limited role. He definitely seems like the highest ranked pure center. I like what Anigbogu could be if he reaches his potential, but the fact that he struggled to find minutes for UCLA really irks me.

I like looking at the Ken Pom player comps for guys. Collins has:

Jakob Poetl, Joel Embiid, Karl Towns, Deandre Jordan, and Darrell Arthur. So, pretty good. His biggest problem; over 6 fouls per 40.

Not going to lie when I watched Collins I thought of Mark Madsen from Stanford and bench player with the Lakers.

Madsen was a great college player. Collins never screamed stud NBA player when I saw him this year at Gonzaga.

Interesting. Agree to disagree. Unless you meant as a dancer.

The Pop rant on Zaza basically inferred this.
