I remember foolishly thinking Syracuse with our NBA frontline and the Knicks with their monster frontcourt would be out-rebounding teams like it was going out of style.

Amare's rebounding is atrocious. I don't understand how someone with his size and quickness (at least the old Amare, and he was awful at it too) could be so bad rebounding.

He's more worried about leaking out on the break and having guards throw him lobs in the open court. And he's not overly physical inside on either end of the court.
