I would never drink a fast food milkshake...but done by a decent place I could see it. The BEST thing I have ever eaten in my entire life was an ice cream sandwich that had caramel coated bacon on it. The saltiness from the bacon pairs amazingly well with the sweetness, and the smoke flavor compliments the ice cream very well. I'm salivating just thinking about it.

Michael Symon's Lola restaurant here in Cleveland has a dessert called "6AM Special." Bacon-maple ice cream over french toast with carmelized apples. Freaking awesome!
