I had hopes that Jalen Smith would have played at Syracuse. He would have been a good 4/5 candidate especially in a year where Syracuse had not identified a decent 5 in 2018. Going to Maryland is good for Maryland but not 100% sure for Jalen Smith.

Even that we have identified 19 or so recruits, almost 8-9 have moved on to other schools and removed Syracuse for consideration.
It is still early in 2017 for identifying 2028 recruits, especially those who have yet to shine in summer and school year play.
