Can’t pick and choose. come on let’s be honest. Overall our last 20 years reflected exactly where we finished in recruiting rankings .Pointing out one of their lower end commits. How convenient.
I’m pretty sure those people were talking about SU commits with multiple p4 offers.
You are pointing him out as if every commit they had was the Jalil Smitb type. He was one of the lowest ranked commitsCan’t pick and choose. come on let’s be honest. Overall our last 20 years reflected exactly where we finished in recruiting rankings .
So our recruiting classes were under rated? You are pointing him out as if every commit they had was the Jalil Smitb type. He was one of the lowest ranked commits
that cycle.
How many teams lowest ranked commit became great players?
Syracuse haven’t recruited well since the late 90’s but it doesn’t mean they get classes full of Jahlil Smith’s.So our recruiting classes were under rated?
What other coaches had the resources that he did besides Shafer? Arguably Marrone recruited at the same level as Shafer and Babers, but with Big East affiliation, HS facilities, and coming off the worse stretch of SU football as headwinds. Yet he identified, developed talent, and put together some solid teams, which could have even been better but for the lack of depth where a few key injuries totally derailed promising season. Same with Babers in some cases, but he didn’t have the same excuses as Marrone for not being able to develop somewhat serviceable depth.Lowry wasnt a big recruit. He ended up at Wisconsin. But yeah let’s crap on the old coach for trying to do what other coaches failed to do prior to him.
Apparently you’re having some reading comprehension problems? This has nothing to do with Babers.Syracuse haven’t recruited well since the late 90’s but it doesn’t mean they get classes full of Jahlil Smith’s.
Every fan board has fans who think their commits should be ranked higher. What other coaches had the resources that he did besides Shafer? Also, sounds like you missed the point. Talking about people who constantly say the recruiting ranking were wrong. or Syracuse gets the short end of the stick. Obviously, our overall record under Babers perfectly matched where we finished in recruiting rankings each year.
You are the one that mentioned the last 20 years. Im just adding that they struggled recruiting in the 70’s and most the of 80’s as well.Apparently you’re having some reading comprehension problems? This has nothing to do with Babers.
Take the bus!He must really want that Russian money.
Syracuse haven’t recruited well since the late 90’s but it doesn’t mean they get classes full of Jahlil Smith’s.
You’re moving the goalposts. You’re talking about one specific player to make your argument and everyone else is talking about the classes as a whole. Big difference.
So let’s not hold Dino accountable when he had more resources than pretty much anyone from any of those eras. Got it.You are the one that mentioned the last 20 years. Im just adding that they struggled recruiting in the 70’s and most the of 80’s as well.
this poster is either a troll, a Babers worshipper or a family member of this young man
Pretty sure this is the same guy doing all he could to defend Deion Sanders as a coach in a thread as well.
It doesn't matter what you post - this is the response you get:Pretty sure this is the same guy doing all he could to defend Deion Sanders as a coach in a thread as well.
