I mean... right now we have our 3rd string freshman QB and 4th string RB playing. Yeah, I think FSU beats us. Probably a close game even if healthy. Regardless, it's funny seeing people comment on games they think we would, or could, win. We are well on our way to one win. Statements like "so and so are really bad!"... I mean opponents say the same thing re: us.

To the original topic- very prone to turnovers, but definitely had a rough go given the overall team issues and especially the line.

I dont know what the spread would be but a Pitt team that was on a 4 game losing streak just beat FSU 41-17 in Tallahassee.

I don't believe he was saying SU would definitely win. He was refuting your statement that FSU would win and it wouldn't be close. The two aren't the same.

While I do not agree with OmahaCuse on some things, I definitely agree with this opinion. I do not think Blackman would be competition for TD. He is probably better than Rex, but not worth holding back the youngsters. Jimbo left FSU in such a mess and QB was a big part of that (along with the O-line)... sound like anyplace else we might know??

Am I the only one that thinks we are legendarily bad. I know we kept a few disinterested opponents close but we are so dysfunctional in so many areas. Maybe the bye week is just in time for me. I need a break from SU and just enjoy good college football games this Saturday.

No. That's not the point. It's hard to say one bad team would blow out another bad team. Did the last bad team we played blow us out? There are two teams on the field at the same time. Sometimes they both suck.

Sports are weird man. Im sure you watch and see how weird things get when particular teams play each other. I wouldnt have predicted a one possession game vs BC. I wouldnt have predicted us playing bad against a weak Duke team. I also wouldnt have predicted a bad Louisville team stomping FSU. I wouldnt have predicted FSU beating UNC.
Have you really watch FSU play? Have you read up about their team this year? Its pretty bad. Norvell's regime started off with players not liking him because of how he lied about CV19 numbers and protocols. He told the media he talked to specific players while he didnt. It went from that to one bad thing after another. To say we wouldnt come close to a really bad FSU team is pretty off.

I dont like how many INT's he's thrown (43 TD's, 26 int's) but you dont think those could be reduced? With a fresh start and some offensive stability he may very well improved and be an asset. We dont know for sure but the kid had a different coordinator each year he played and the worse offensive line play in FSU history. 4 coordinators in 4 years. Randy Sanders, Walt bell, Kendall briles and Kenny Dillingham. 4 different OC's and 3 different HC's. That's insane

I watch lots of college football besides SU. Lots of SEC, some B10, B12 and ACC. I haven’t watch any PAC games in a few years. I think FSU is a bad team. I just think we are far worse right now. You feel differently. Roger, got it.

like you said, the culture is bad there. You can't understate that. It takes away from skill when your heart and intentions are not with the team. Look at 2018 Louisville. They had skill on that team. We might not be good but our guys are playing hard through out the game. They havent quit. FSU has one of the worse defenses in the country and a mediocre offense. Their QB has a 50% completion rate with 4 TD's and 5 picks. They lost their best players too. DT Wilson and WR Terry

Yes, we are really bad. But that doesn’t mean we can’t form judgements on other teams.

In this particular case, I’d rather have our issues than theirs. But I’d for sure trade recruits.

Some seem to think that talking about other bad teams is like ignoring how bad we are Lol. We all know we suck. It’s talked about in every thread. I like talking football period. We can’t talk about other teams because we are not good? So I should not say anything critical about Bama or Clemson either?
