Can we just take a moment to appreciate two things?

1) the increasing amount of flashes and opportunities we’re seeing from Tremble on a weekly basis.

2) the staff recognizing that this guy is a tremendous athlete and getting him on the field.

I don’t know if he ends up on defense long term. But he sure as …. looks the part. Can’t wait to watch him keep developing.

and PFF says he didnt play well?

Tremble flashed elite edge potential. His bend around the edge is exceptional—he can turn the corner so sharply it leaves tackles flat-footed, allowing him to apply consistent pressure on the quarterback. He keeps beating linemen to the spot with precision. Tremble has a limitless ceiling and will only keep improving as he gains more game reps.

The colour guy on the broadcast Louis Riddick, who played in the league and spent 14 years working in NFL front offices (up to Director of Pro Personnel), couldn’t stop gushing about Tremble.

I don’t think there was a player on either team he was hyping up more from a pro potential standpoint.

Tremble has certainly passed the eyeball test early on.

Glad you called out Tremble. He had a fantastic game, and could have a real career rushing the edge or at linebacker. Hard hits, punching out the ball, just had a great game. Commentator was gushing about him too !

Kudos to the coaches for getting him on the field in a completely new position!

same thing with using Chase Simmons both way, Fran is an out-of-the-box thinker

I have been unable to see most games this year for various reasons, and I keep hearing about Tremble playing defense. Took me by surprise for sure. With Tremble and Deslauriers able to shine at LB, we are looking great for the future. Loving the young talent we are assembling on defense. Go Orange!!!

I don't know how good Tremble actually is yet, but his ratio of impact plays to snaps seems very high. Usually when you see that it's because a guy's talent is just such an outlier that they can't hide on the field. They have a certain gravity that makes things happen.

It's cool to see. It's a rare thing.

The one thing that makes me wonder is that this offense is using the TE sets a decent amount. Vallari has caught a bunch of balls. Where does it go when he leaves? Clement seems like a big blocker and sometimes a catcher but not really a route runner. Who is the next TE in the system and really we need two

TE and DL strike me as the two main portal looks for the off-season.

He hit a Clemson player hard and knocked the ball out on a 1st quarter pass and he was most certainly noticed by the Tigers after that play. He and AD back there are just violence waiting to happen.

I will always remember the video of Fran in fall camp before 2024 season began yelling and clapping "BE VIOLENT"

culture built.
