That's awesome. Watching his tape, I thought of a guy that could give us what Hay did from the minute he steps on the practice field after a RS year in the S&C departments, but with the feet to possess a much higher ceiling as he develops.

Didn't Pugh also? Probably the best comparison, although I think Emerich has more offers than Pugh did.

Emerich is our best OL recruit, though Knapp may have bigger potential when he bulks up. I can't believe how underrated he is by some of the services; he has great feet, technique and is very coachable. I see him playing early on. We've recruited him as an OT, although some have him pegged as an OG on the next level. I'm hoping he's the next coming of Pugh.

I don't really see Pugh or Hickey, I actually think Knapp could become one of those guys, but I don't really have an eye for offensive lineman either... never could tell which ones would make the best pros on Draft Day... but I do like Emerich a lot. On his tape I saw a mauler, committed to annihilating his man, while also flashing a nice ability to pull. My humble opinion, I think he could make an All-ACC team at RT someday, but could end up in the NFL as a guard..... hope I didn't just jinx him.
